===== Hot Gingered Beef & Broccoli Salad with Red Pepper ===== \\ [[Beef]]\\ Prep Time: 15 minutes\\ Cook Time: 15 minutes\\ Serves: 4\\ Ingredients: * 2 broccoli crowns * 4 cloves garlic * 2 (2 1/2 cm) pieces ginger root * 2 red bell peppers * 1 package spring mix * 0.68 kg striploin steak * 2 tsp chili-garlic sauce * olive oil * 2 tbsp rice vinegar * sesame seeds * 2 tbsp soy sauce * 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil Steps: - Wash and dry produce - ginger root - broccoli crowns - red bell peppers - spring mix - Peel and mince garlic and ginger, place in large bowl - Add oils, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili-garlic sauce to the bowl. Whisk to combine dressing. - 1/4 cup olive oil - 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil - 2 tbsp soy sauce - 2 tbsp rice vinegar - 2 tbsp garlic-chili sauce - Slice steak into thin strips and place in a medium bowl. Add 1/3 of the dressing and toss to coat, then set aside to marinate. - Seperate broccoli into bite-sized florets and cut stems into smaller pieces - Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat - Once skillet is hot, add oil and swirl to coat the bottom - 4 tsp olive oil - Add broccoli to skillet. Cook, stirring often, until bright green and almost cooked through, about 6 minutes. - Add steak strips and marinade to the skillet. Cook, stirring often, until desired doneness. 3-4 minutes for medium. Remove from heat. - Meanwhile, seed and slice bell peppers into thin strips - Add bell pepper and mixed greens to the bowl with the remaining dressing and toss to combine - Divide salad between plates or bowls and top with steak-broccoli stir-fry and top with sesame seeds {{tag>beef salad meal_salad}}
