  1. Bring salted water to a boil
  2. Wash and trim off ends of green beans
  3. Blanch green beans in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then put into colander and rinse with cold water
  4. Dice garlic and juice lemon into a bowl
  5. Add salt, pepper, almonds, and olive oil to the bowl and mix to combine
  6. Once beans are cooled add to the bowl with the dressing and toss
