Sterilize canning jars, lids, and rings in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Mix together brine ingredients ang bring to a boil.
Cut cucumbers into spears.
Once jars are sterilized put in 1/2 tbsp peppercorns, a few shakes of mustard powder to taste, a couple crushed cloves of garlic, and a few stems of dill with flowers.
Pack jars with cucumber spears and fill with brine leaving 1/2“ head space.
